As COO for Content Distribution, Chris is responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness of our Global Content Sales business, working closely with Sales Leads in the UK, EMEA, APAC and The Americas. Chris is also responsible for the strategic planning and management of our longstanding, key partnerships including AMC Networks/BBC AMERICA, Discovery, PBS, BritBox, and Blue Ant Media, a continuation of the responsibilities he held previously as EVP, Strategic Partnerships/Projects. Prior to joining BBC Studios, Chris worked in the BBC’s Specialist Factual Commissioning team, and was an Executive Producer and Head of Development in BBC Studios’ world-renowned Natural History Unit, where he was a programme maker for over a decade. As Executive VP, Lawrence oversees local and global co-production and content acquisition deals with streaming and linear network partners across North & Latin America. He leads teams based in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, and São Paulo, most recently brokering innovative deals to bring top BBC Studios titles such as Deano, Wild Cherry, and Doctor Who, to leading platforms. Lawrence is a studio veteran with over 25 years of experience in domestic and international media markets, having crafted distribution strategies for global film and television franchises. Lawrence came to BBC Studios from Paramount Global, where he oversaw the company’s diverse streaming and cable portfolio as Senior Executive, Program Acquisitions. Prior to Paramount, Szabo served as Executive Vice President, North American TV/SVOD Sales at Lionsgate. As SVP of FAST and VOD Sales, Sarah is a seasoned sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth, monetization strategy, and expanding the footprint of BBC Studios’ premium scripted and unscripted programming across VOD and FAST platforms in North America. She leads partnerships with key distributors and platforms, ensuring that world-class content reaches and resonates with audiences across the region. Prior to joining BBC Studios in January 2023, Sarah spent 14 years at A+E, where she held leadership roles across digital content sales and advertising sales. She was instrumental in shaping growth strategy for the digital A+E Networks portfolio, including the launch and expansion of apps, FAST channels, and VOD collections across Connected TV (CTV), OTT streamers, and ad-supported platforms. Chris leads teams in London, Paris and Cologne, recently brokering co-production deals on titles such as Blue Planet III and Walking with Dinosaurs with France Television, ZDF and Skai Greece. Based in London, Chris works closely with Content Sales leads across APAC and the Americas, as well as with BBC Studios Genre leadership. With almost twenty years’ experience at BBC Studios, Chris has nurtured key strategic relationships across the EMEA region. Based in London, Rebecca works closely with Content Sales teams globally as well as with BBC Studios Genre leadership. As Head of Content Sales, Cathy Sibbering leads the commercial strategy for BBC Studios across the UK and Ireland, driving revenue growth, securing strategic funding partnerships, and maximising the value of BBC Group IP. The UK Sales team manage key broadcaster and platform relationships, negotiate high profile deals, and work closely with Commissioning teams in Global Channels & Streaming to help bring new projects to life through external investment and deficit financing. As Director of Content Sales for BBC Studios ANZ, Deborah is responsible for content sales, co-productions, and key affiliate deals across the region, ensuring maximum impact for BBC Studios’ multi genre catalogue and driving strong returns through holistic, long term content partnerships.  As part of the Global Content Sales team, Deborah also contributes to global deals, partnerships, and co-production on behalf of Australia and New Zealand.   In her time at BBC, she has secured significant multi-year agreements with partners including ABC, Nine, Foxtel, TVNZ and Sky Network Television, strengthening BBC Studios’ relationships with every major broadcast and streaming platform in the market. ...
